For Businesses – Our mission is to educate, promote and inspire growth in the ethical and sustainable fashion industry. In doing so, we support and share qualified businesses with our passionate audience – we’d love to hear about yours! It is important that your business meets the ethos of our online publication so please consider in advance if your business can meet the following standards.
Ethical Fashion Review™ would love to hear from businesses who meet two or more of our key criteria of;
1. One of the following ethical production standards;
- handmade in-house; or ethically-made in Australia
- fair trade certified;
- equivalent living-wage* and human rights policy, supply-chain transparency
- *Suggested Sources: Asia Floor Wage, Global Living Wage Coalition
2. And; at least one environmentally sustainable production practice or initiative such as;
- certified organic materials
- reused and recycled materials
- environmentally sustainable production (e.g. UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action)
- small batch or made to order
- new innovations in waste reduction or reuse and empowering people
- social impact programs and charity partnership programs
- cruelty-free, animal friendly or conservation organisations
